Budding Buddhas Yoga & Mindfulness - For all ages
The benefits of yoga for kids are many, including increased focus and concentration, heightened body awareness and self-control, increased flexibility and strength. Yoga for kids helps ease stress and build confidence. It encourages children of all ages to create healthy habits for life.
If I could learn one thing each day, it would be how to love myself and others more fully. With yoga, we will all meet there.
Tovami means community - the name can't be found in a dictionary, nor does it have a country of origin, but has been created. A name to mean community, one letter, one idea, one person at a time. We see everyone as unique and special like Yoga. The focus for us is on building this beautiful yoga community, this "Tovami" honoring yoga as an ancient mindfulness art in our welcoming studio.
Tovami Yoga begins its Yoga Alliance registered and approved 200-hour teacher certification program September 22, 2018

This month's Featured Yoga Teacher
Like our Yoga Practioners, our Teacher's are fun & have a unique view that shines brightly throughout each of their classes.
We love Caroline because she is kind, intelligent, and passionate about teaching. Her classes are challenging yet organic and fluid. She feels strongly about honoring every person by teaching them greater awareness of themselves, through the tools of Tantra and Hatha Yoga. This multi-faceted approach helps her students find their personal way to feel balanced and recharged after practice. Learn more about Caroline with a quick Q + A below and come practice in studio with her every Thursday and Friday!
1. Tell us a bit about how you found yoga? My first Yoga class was in 1994. I only took it because someone had told me that it made them feel wonderful. No magic happened to me that day. I found back to Yoga after moving abroad and joining a gym where they offered Yoga. That was in 1998 and Yoga was not yet popular. Therefore, we where a small group of students and I liked the little community that we where. It was my refuge and my safe place within the complicated uprooted life that I was dealing with.
2. What can someone expect when coming to your class? Expect a slow deliberate flow. This might seem easy, but expect to be challenged.
3. What’s something about you that no one would expect? I am a trained Haute Couture seamstress. Did you know that there are chains on the inside of a Chanel vest?
4. If you had to choose- favorite yoga pose? Let’s turn this around, shall we? I do not ever practice (or teach) Hanumanasana.
5. Favorite song? That would be “Hotel California” by The Eagles. I never get tired of it.
