Utkata Konasana, or Goddess Pose, is a core-strengthening, inner-thigh lengthening pose. This asana facilitates a stronger connection with our inherent inner goddess. Tap into powerful feminine energy with some of our favorite tips! - As always, listen to your body and take any modifications that you need!

  • As you lower into the pose, peek down at your legs and make sure that you knees are stacking on top of your ankles and that they're tracking in line with your second or third toes.

  • Find a slight tuck in the tailbone, draw the pubic bone towards the navel to lengthen through the lower back.

  • Pull the navel towards the spine to engage the core.

  • Relax your upper body and allow your sternum to lift slightly towards the ceiling.

  • Don't forget to breathe!
